How to have a successful tattoo session? Part 1

The following article aims to guide you to the best of your ability for your tattoo session. Below are some practical tips to help you have the best tattoo experience possible.

1. Drink water!

Being properly hydrated makes your skin more resistant, which helps you endure longer and your skin will absorb the ink better. Drink plenty of water, at least two liters a day, several days before your session to be at your best.

Avoid consuming alcohol at least 3 days before getting tattooed! Alcohol thins the blood, which amplifies bleeding. Put all the odds in your favor to have a beautiful tattoo experience!

2. Rest!

Try to get a good night's sleep before your appointment. It's important to be well-rested to be in good shape and better appreciate the experience.

3. Wash yourself!

A good shower is always nice! We appreciate it if your skin is well cleaned for the occasion.

4. Moisturize your skin!

Moisturize your skin a few weeks before your session, but not on the day itself!

5. Eat!

Even if you're not hungry, eat at least an hour beforehand! It will help your body by giving it strength to endure longer.

6. Dress accordingly!

Be comfortable. Dress according to the area where you will be tattooed, making it easily accessible. A zip-up hoodie, a black shirt, a sarong, or a crop top, for example. Avoid white and precious clothes.

7. Make provisions!

Take a bag with provisions. Water, snacks with sugar, headphones, and cash.
